What is Sodium
Sodium is a mineral that the body uses to regulate blood pressure. Sodium also helps muscles and nerves work properly. This soft silvery white substance melts at 370.72 degrees Fahrenheit (97.8 degrees Celsius) and boils at 1621.4 degrees Fahrenheit (881 degrees Celsius.) even though sodium is the sixth most common element in the earth’s crust it can’t be found in pure form. It is found as a compound. Sodium is very soft and floats on water. This substance is so soft you can cut it with a plastic knife!
